Name any Cavs GM that was able to trade for a Top 20 player ? there was KLove, but there was a Guy named LBJ off of 4 NBA finals etc
These 2 guys Have us the Cavs a respectable team.

You didn't have to be even a fair GM to draft LBJ. but not getting him the talent to win in the first 7 years is down right shameful in retrospect. instead of one Championship we should have 5 or more... think about it.

The only GM that ever built anything close to this team was our best GM in our history Wayne Embry.
 
I'm ok with Altman. Even if he picked up a DUI.

The talent is average outside of Mitchell, which is pretty damn good for a historically piss poor franchise. Again, outside of LBJ and a few of the Embry years.

Heck Chris Grant drafted the players we had. then LBJ came on as the defacto GM. keeping it real.

4 games left need them all to get to 50 wins. 3-7 the last 10. if we go 5-5 guess what ? we are the 2 seed. smh

We've had times when we play well but it just doesn't last. we just can't shoot for periods of time. or just turn it over for no reason.
if we could just play D for 48 minutes that would solve a lot. it's a mess. but they can clean it up..... will they ?
they spend to much time watching, making them look slow/old.
Donovan & Max have no rhythm.

I thought we might be able to get past the first round if we went up against Indy. Now I don't even think we can get past Indy.

Can't wait to see Bickerstaff relegated back to an assistant coach, which is where he belongs.

Only way Bickerstaff stays is if Mitchell says he will stay if Bickerstaff does. But I doubt that happens.

Can’t ignore that the Garland-Mitchell combo has been one of the league’s most prolific either.

A couple of those turnovers were just hard on the eyes. What was Garland thinking driving to the hole ? dude you are a stepback shooter. there were so many other bad/sad plays in those last 24 minutes. guess what ? coach never asked for those.

Coach doesn't understand how to adjust. Coach continuously game in game out watches while his team goes 20 minutes without scoring or gets 20 straight scored on them. Coach yells at refs and keeps same rotation. Coach ignores the best rotation he ever had and goes back to shit rotation that has never worked. Coach will not be coach soon.

Coaches can't keep a job. not because they don't know the game. it's because players run the joint. you win a ring then get shown the door in 18 months.

Heck you keep wanting JB to play players he don't even have now. stop you are better than this.
 
So coach didn't want the 3 seed or 2 seed.

He ticked me of for the first time today. maybe he has a excuse. but that game today was so winnable. but he pulled what players we had. watching TT in iso... no one should ever have to watch that no matter what. there was no one to handle the ball @ 6:39 left with a 6 point lead.
At this point the Bulls were looking good @ the Knicks. if the Bulls had held on we could've moved up to the 2 seed.
 
It's not about wins bro. C'mon! It's the Cavs.
JB is trying to angle for the easiest team to beat, in his opinion, in the first round. I saw the uber physical Wagner brothers stomp this team earlier this year but ok.

JB got what he wants. He's gone if he doesn't win the series and possibly if we struggle to a closely contested series win.
