Cavaliers 2023-2024 season

Humans just like writing stuff making it up as they go. "Sources, unnamed players" look these players knew him from last year. This is a Players League if they (even a couple of them) questioned him, he would've been gone then or before the all-star break.
and I don't even care if he does go after that tanking crap. but the above is just the way it is & has been for decades, for just about any coach.

Mobley and Allen on the court together just doesn’t seem to work.

Likewise DM and DG. I hate shipping off talent though.
There are a lot of problems with this team as far as system goes... Now that is either a Roster issue or coaching.. Or possibly both... But several things about this team bothers me...

1). Bickerstaff: He shows no ability to adapt.. can't settle a rotation if his life depended on it.... Puts players in terrible positions... Wastes valuable TO's.. Has nary a clue of what a 2 man game is.. And no pick and roll option... Has no clue on how to use transition basketball to generate fouls(shooting) and scoring points...

2). The team is whoafully streaky.. Garland takes terrible shot selections... Wastes a lot of shots in desperation attempts ... Gives you just about nothing in terms of defense.. Him and Mitchell or Allen should've been able to work out a 2 man game between them and it just isn't happening.

3). Bickerstaff continues to do this Iso shit where one guy tries to make it happen while other guys stand around with their thumbs up their assholes...

I'm sure there's a bunch of other things I'm missing... But I think we've scratched the surface.. Its a pretty good basketball team.. But they need to be healthy and do better... I honestly think Bickerstaff is the main issue....

Watch just about any NBA game. it's become a mostly 3 man game with 2 shooters in the corners.

We run the 2 man game. there are the nights when Allen or Mosley get 20 points. trouble is the only a very few when both do.
Mosley needs to build his upper body. all the time not just in the summer. Allen is what he is, not likely to be more. other bigs can't wait to get on him. same with Mosley.

I can't recall a game this past year where we needed a Timeout and didn't have one, and it was coach's fault. our players will toss them about by nearly turning over the ball etc.
Conditioning of our players might be questionable. you don't hear much about it league wide. these players are so pampered these days, yet can't play 75 or more games.
To be honest I follow the AFL over there the players come to work everyday like it's a Job. their bodies are looked over like prize Cattle LOL and they are conditioned like no other athletes in the free world. gps tracking etc
AFL players run an impressive 12-14 kilometers per game, with some exceptional athletes even surpassing the 20-kilometer mark. It’s an incredible display of endurance and stamina.

But it’s not just about the sheer distance covered. It’s also about the blistering speed at which these players move. When sprinting, AFL players can reach mind-blowing speeds of up to 35 kilometers per hour. That’s faster than most of us will ever run in our lives!

The Pacers won't have a chance if the Celtic's keep getting 20 more free throws a game. see a pattern here ?
they got 30 more on us in 5 games.
It's not like the Celtics don't play hard on defense. ridiculous.

This is far worse than even I thought.

The massive free throw gap basically encapsulates how each team has been impacted by the charity stripe in the 2024 postseason.
“The Celtics have the highest free throw differential (+93) this playoffs,” StatMuse posted. “The Pacers have the lowest free throw differential (-100) this playoffs.”

Not a Celtic fan

The Mavs were the 5th best team in the west. yep they were hot after the all-star break but ......
the only thing worse than this outcome was the ABC/ESPN announcing team. they must be once and done.
