Cavaliers 2024- 2025 season

They boys grinded out that W. LeVert a key to it. as were the benches 95 minutes & 43 points. Niang had a game that doesn't show up in the box score save he was a + 17. were those opening 15 games Ty's 'Linsanity' ish moments ?

And some have wanted to sumo LeVert.

I won't go as far as to equate Ty's play to Linsanity, but opponents are now actually paying more attention to him, his "big" scoring games came in blowouts where he got larger minites, and he seems to be returning a bit to the expected mean or a bit better than.

Personally I think there was a bit of instant over expectations for Ty based on small sample sizes.
 
I don't think Ty has been playing poorly lately. Just that if one had expectations that those 4 games where he scored 20-30 points would be the standard for him then those expectations are simply unrealistic and unreasonable. To me realistic expectations are a 10-15 points a night on 18-20 minutes.

Not saying you or mad had that high of expectations for Ty

His last 4 games not good. all a minus + - . 9-23, 2-9 from 3.

In the preseason I had no idea if he would get many minutes. then Max was out etc
Then him going on to be the 8th best player 17, 18 games into this season was kinda insanity. I don't know if he ever played in 18 straight games before. 159 games in 5 seasons(410) much more of a DNP guy than not.
 
The boys keep jabbing away looking for the power shot run. steady play from the stars and a hot other. Sam played the role last night 6-11 on the long ball. they are winners. 4 game road trip.

Talk lately about lower ratings. saying it's too many 3s etc the game is still a good action watch. imo it's all the outside stuff the past few years. BLM, Wokeness, the picking China over freedom & politics. this stuff will drive some people away. Jordan understood this.
