I hadn't seen Luka say he new this was coming. During his introductory press conference for the Lakers he said he was surprised.

I don't know how hands on or not that new ownership is. But you don't typically see this type of move and that return without ownership buy in. Be interesting to eventually learn exactly the why and who

I wonder if Kenny had input on this trade. Hunter nothing special I can see. Caris could be/put up Hunter numbers if asked to imo. I hope it works out.

LeVert on expiring contract and not been playing well of late.

Hunter doesn't seem special, yet somehow just puts up 18pts, boards, and assists each night in the flow of the game. Have to see how he does once in CLE

He said both. here he says he knew. at some point I knew this would happen.

I am not going to go down the hole to look this up. but I heard.
Miriam Adelson laughed at Nico at first when he spoke about the trade. as we can see he convinced her.
 
Isn't her son in law the governor for the team?

When there are so many different stories, a guy whonwas traded giving contradicting answers, the return, and the level of player moved there is a possible 30/30 one day. Cause it sure don't smell like a lone gunman. Be interesting when it all eventually comes out

I really don't see what is left to be known. small details if you like.
Luka seen the changes when Cuban left. surely he had internal arguments in his head..... They/Nico wants me gone..... but they can't get rid of me. but like he said he is taking the high road.
 
The boys took losing their buddies to the Hawks pretty hard. in a season where nearly everything has gone their way this will be the highest hill so far. when you've played like the best team on the planet all season kinda hard to see this coming. even in LBJ's last 4 years teams none played this well. every year at the trade dead line you knew we need to add this or that.

I watch a lot of NBA games but not much Hawks games, so I have no idea how this guy plays. his stats say he's got better as time goes on. he played very well against us in those 2 games in Nov. yet the Hawks moved on from him. the Hawks announcers were saying they will miss his Defense. Caris & George were on the Hawks bench last night.

They pulled it out in the 4th after go thru the motions the first 3 qtr. one thing for sure is this trade will be something good or bad.
 
The Wolves were impressed. we got up 20 and never let them into it. Hunter looks good like a NBA player should. great feet and length.
and Ty's buddy. 5 more games till we get the Celtics again. you that's what this trade was about being able to match up better with them.

I'll be watching more Hawks games now, get to see Nance Jr too. he and George got into it on the bench last night over assignments.
 
Here's my take on the Luka trade after thinking this over.
Miriam Adelson wants the Las Vegas team when it comes along, only a matter of time. LBJ wants to be a part of it. this gets him on board. doing him and the NBA a solid. they will sell the Mavs and take the expansion Vegas team. you heard it here first. :cool:
 
When shots are not falling in nice to be able to play good D. they did. They were inspired by Isaac being back. I thought he was the one that might get traded at the deadline. he was rocking it on D.
Hunter looks like he just doesn't want to mess up. nice when that passes away. our big's played BIG.
next 4 games national coverage.. gotta be a first since LBJ left.

DG got beat up and couldn't make a shot after that. Hopefully, it's nothing serious and he gets his shot back because teams will play dirt... er, uh "physical" against us.

That's what happens when opponents can't beat you straight up and our guys need to be prepared. Hard to believe NY got to the foul line more than us.
