My boys took me to the game last night at Rocket Arena. The place was rocking!
They kind looked tired in the 2nd half for a little while and lost their mo'. People talk about the Heat being well coached. Atkinson is every bit as good a coach as anybody in the NBA.

Except for that lull they have in the late 3rd/ early 4th quarter of games they have looked surprisingly in control.... Kenny is doing a good job coaching the flow of the game for the most part... Donovan is turning into a 4th quarter warrior... Luv it!!

Going 8-8 to finish not important now. but if we make finals. looks like those Pacers next, we were 1-3 against them. one of the few teams that had our number.

Fun to watch these guys making it look easy.

What did we learn ?
These Cavs are not the Killers. they got out hustled at the start out-physicaled the rest of the way. not like we haven't seen these guys before and knew they beat us 3 out of 4 times.

It is just one game, as bad as it was if we just made 4 more 3s we win. that would still be below our average.

We always hear the talking heads say... is this next game a must win ? I'll tell you in the playoffs every game is a must win.

That might be the most devastating Cavs loss yet. (not like I remember these things). Block out inbound the dam ball. just out hustled.

This is not the NBA basketball we watch all year. I know even these days playoff time they let the players be a bit more physical. but the players are not liking this. this looks like 1990s games. the less talented teams are using this to win games. all the road teams win game 1.

We are cooked winning 4 of 5 not likely at all.

Disgusting really. Pacers are brutalizing us, and we are curling up in the fetal position and nursing every little boo boo in street clothes while laughing it up on the bench.

Garland should have been traded long ago. I pined for Haliburton but we kept low testosterone, brittle bones Garland.

Awful.

All it took was 1 playoff game and these 3 clowns are out.

These pacers are not killers.

This was our best game of the year, by just refusing to let them catch up. they would have those little runs then we stopped them. that was hard for us playing good teams all season.

This team and I mean Team has played hard all season long. Guys play the regular season for the money and to get to the playoffs. when they play for free. the growth of these players over the past 3 seasons has been a joy to watch. anybody thinking players being soft and not playing/caring this time of year... give me a break.
