NFL Draft 2025 Draft stuff

CBD had the Titans beat writer on. Says they have 5 options at the 1st overall

Ward
Sanders
Travis Hunter
Abdul Carter
A trade

I mean. This draft better not go

Titans : QB
Browns : non-QB
Giants : QB

We have a conference that goes through Lamar, Joe, Patrick and Josh. Need to keep swinging.

The guy was pretty irritating to listen to. He wouldn't admit that QB is super important and was trying to play the, "you can find a QB anywhere card". He definitely cherry picked stats for the subject. Now we know why the Titans stink...they don't think QB is important either.

I agree. His point on highly drafted QB’s was so far fetched. Really poor critical thinking.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Giants move up and take Sanders. Titans have a ways to go and getting more picks and going with Levis one more year is pretty reasonable.

The Titans reporter claimed he had 17 quarterbacks ranked ahead of Levis who would be better for the team in 2025. He also suggested there are multiple free-agent options they believe could have a “Sam Darnold-type resurgence” (yikes) and he thought Darnold was a legit option for the Titans.

He made it sound like they prefer free agency over drafting a rookie because rookies sometimes fail—completely ignoring the fact that every free-agent QB is essentially a “failed” QB. As OCON said… really poor critical thinking.

I'm really starting to enjoy our #2 spot in this particular draft, as there is no QB who threw for 5,000 yards, 50 TD's, and won the Heisman. Which, makes it a normal draft, without less lamenting about draft position.

It wouldn't be about sticking with Levis. It would be about not rating Ward or Sanders worth the 1st pick and playing for next draft and a QB they really want. I wouldn't hate it if the Browns did the same thing. But I think we're taking whichever is there at #2. But without question, I hope we get Sanders.

I think this is why MG wants out. The organization is at a critical juncture.
Not necessarily the team. But the FO for sure and a change of the FO is pretty much a complete redo.

The main prob w Myles wanting out is it is un-doable without crippling the team and fan base until 2027, when the seeds of a rebuild can start to grow, and maybe be back to relevance by the end of the decade.

Can’t blame the fans or FO for saying to him …

Berry and Stefanski would be stupid to do this.

They are looking for immediate results. If the Browns win 5 games or less this year, maybe even raise that number to 7, they are for sure fired.
I don't think so. This is all because of the Watson trade, not Stefanski's coaching. I'm not a huge fan, but he's competent. He's got the next two years in my opinion, unless the wheels come completely off. I think we're taking a QB and I think Stefanski's still got some slack.

You know who nobody rated the #2 QB in the draft or a Top 2 draft pick? Jayden Daniels last season.

Vary rarely do you get to pick the QB you want. You know what doesn't matter? If it's pick 2, 10, 15 or 20 in the first round. If he's your guy, you take him when you have the chance.

Waiting until next year....when you might not have a Top 10 pick, is a loser way to run a franchise.
