Browns Game Thread - Browns vs Jets | Barking Hard

Browns Game Thread Browns vs Jets

that’s exactly right! They should be about rapped up with the film by now and starting to put a game plan together. I think the Jets are going to opt for pressure and man to man coverage on defense. As comfortable as Baker looks back there, I have no doubt he will exploit the 1 on 1 coverage. I hope the game plan includes the tight ends like it did last week.

I also think Hunt and Chubb are going to run wild. Get them the ball early and often. Go Browns!

Stefanski's M.O. has been to run several scripted plays, see how those plays are defended make adjustments if needed and watch the offense roll. This offense is capable of doing whatever it needs to do to be efficient and take advantage of any and all weaknesses. I really don't know how any defensive coach looks at it and thinks we can take this away or that away from KS. There's just no room for error by the defenses playing against us.

oh I have to agree. With all that talent on offense, Baker coming into his own, and guys you’ve never heard of stepping in and playing next man up on the O-line like they’ve been starting all year is incredible and a true testament to that O-line Coach Callahan. Coach Stefanski truly is a diamond in the ruff. He’s proved himself worthy to me even though I was highly skeptical at first. I’ve done a complete 180 and think he is a rock star of a coach. He is the big reason I think the Browns are indeed a SuperBowl contender not only next year and the year after, but this year!

I was skeptical too, but had to wait and see to be sure. NY giants media were touting Joe Judge as a Coach of the year candidate too. GTFOH! Stefanski settled any east coast BS bias Sunday. Joe Judge left points on the board so he could get cute on ST's. #dummy. He looked out of his element. Like Clueless a couple years ago.

Callahan is arguably the best OLine coach in the game right now. He got Wills ready and playing very well. He turned Wyatt Teller into a beast and he's obviously developed 5th round pick Nick Harris into a solid back up as a rookie.

Stefanski is the real deal, but as always he is graded after every game like the players. He's had a couple of screwups, but he owns it when he does so and does not repeat them. For a rookie HC in the NFL he is way ahead of guys like Gase, Patricia, 3G and others who have been in the league a few years. Josh McDaniels can try to find a different desperate team that will accept his demands if he decides to get out from under BB's wing.

Steve Doerschuk:
Sam Darnold was Mayock's favorite quarterback and the seventh-best player overall. Mayock's next QB, at No. 9 overall, was Josh Allen, followed by Josh Rosen at No. 21, Mayfield at No. 22 and Lamar Jackson at No. 23.

It was a cute little insult to Mayfield. No. 22 is where the Browns drafted Brady Quinn in 2007, Brandon Weeden in 2012 and Johnny Manziel in 2014.

Statement from Cleveland Browns Spokesperson:
"Earlier today, the Cleveland Browns were informed that a player's test results have come back positive for COVID-19. Our facility is closed and our flight to New Jersey has been delayed while contact tracing is being conducted. The team is holding meetings remotely as we continue to consult with the NFL and medical experts on the appropriate next steps as the health and safety of our players, coaches, staff and the entire community remains our highest priority."

Well Fuck!

OK. Ronnie Harrison will not play. BJ Goodson will not play and Malcolm Smith has a hamstring and may be out too. Teller won't play either, but we knew that going in.

So according to the Browns depth chart the starting LB corp will be MLB Tae Davis, Phillips and Takitaki. A second year guy, a rookie and a ST'er unless Wilson is rotated in at MLB.

This is not good gentlemen. Not good.

I guess some teams do not get their schedule reworked like others have. How are we supposed to field a team with two TE's and no WR's and if true why do we have to play on instead of giving us a few days to clear contract tracing?
