Browns Game Thread Browns vs Jets

The Cleveland Browns have placed WR Rashard Higgins, WR KhaDarel Hodge, WR Jarvis Landry, WR Donovan Peoples-Jones and LB Jacob Phillips on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.*
In addition, the club has elevated (Contagious Disease Addendum) WR Ja'Marcus Bradley, LB Montrel Meander and WR Derrick Willies from the practice squad.
Bradley, 6-1, 198 pounds, is an undrafted rookie out of Louisiana-Lafayette. He has been a member of the team's practice squad since Week 1 and has appeared in two games this season. At Louisiana-Lafayette, Bradley saw action in 52 career games, catching 160 passes for 2,359 yards (fourth-most in Louisiana-Lafayette history) and 23 touchdowns (second in program annals). A native of Ackerman, Miss., Bradley will wear No. 84.
Meander (pronounced ME-ander) is 6-2, 215 pounds and officially in his first NFL season out of Grambling State. Originally signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2018, Meander has appeared in two games this season as a reserve. A native of Amarillo, Texas, Meander will wear No. 41.
Willies is 6-4, 207 pounds and in his second NFL season out of Texas Tech. He was originally signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He has appeared in five career games and logged three receptions for 61 yards. He was signed to the Browns practice squad on Nov. 17. Willies hails from San Bernadino, Calif. and will wear No. 16.
*This reserve list category was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. Per agreed upon NFL-NFLPA policy, clubs are not permitted to comment on player's medical status other than referring to roster status. Clubs may not disclose whether player is in quarantine or is positive for COVID-19.

Our backup tight ends need to show up big. De Ernest Johnson should see more time and Kareem can move to a WR or slot spot. Didn’t we recently sign a WR who played at Detroit? Get him in there.

“This is a test of all tests if you ask me. I’m in”

Did anyone break protocol?
It sounds like the Browns handled it by the book subsequent to Goodson's positive test. Who knows for sure how Goodson got it?
And I think Landry should've gotten the vaccine by now. He's as essential as Biden!

If protocol was followed then WTF?

So if I’m the Jets, I’m loading the box to stuff the run daring Baker to throw it. If I’m Stefanski, I’m giving Baker the keys and throwing it as if Hall and Willies been there the whole time. Njoku gonna have to come up big as well.
I'm sure Chucky is giving that kid the ass reaming of his right now!!
this game is prime example on why I just want the Browns to win out. Even though in light of the covid bs and protocols, the odds will be stacked against us now. My prediction is these guys are being held out for nothing and will test negative.

Raiders ....simply unbelievable.

I spent the whole morning on the playoff machine on ESPN.com. With Miami’s win it’s not even win-and-we’re-in any longer as Miami, Baltimore, Colts and Titans all could be kicking out at some time if we don’t go 2-0. Here it is no longer the case of one or two players who have to step up. It’s the entire Browns organization who has to step up.
What I do not understand is: why the NFL moved a dozen games along the year for Covid reasons and we are the only team that has to play at the scheduled day and time with an entire dept out for Covid? WTF?
