Browns Game Thread Browns vs Jets

And I wholeheartedly disagree... hunt ran in front of him.. it shouldve been ruled a forward pass...
Good luck with disagreeing with the rules of the game. A forward pass must go forward (the ball goes backwards while baker is going forward and Baker is not attempting to pass the ball). It would also be an illegal forward pass since Baker is beyond the LOS.

All bickering aside, what a landslide of assholery amongst that emotional roller coaster of a game. Not to mention the side piece, Colts Steelers. Just another messed day in a messed up year.

St's came to play...except for Parkey. He's affected each of the last three games with missed PAT's that change what the offense needs to do late in games.

He made some fair points. I was screaming for more screen and slants. Terribly coached game.

Our FB drops the ball every time we toss it to him.

Hunt should be in there on every play, what a waste of talent.

Kitchens beat the Ravens and Steelers last year. Would he have even been fired with the cake walk schedule Stefanski got this season? Couldn't have asked for an easier run.

Why have we not replaced our kicker?

Some very valid points. Kareem Hunt. I agree with him. Why the fuck was he not in the slot or spread outside? And in there on every play? I agree we are wasting Hunts talents if he’s not on the field. Get him the fucking ball already no matter what we have to do to make it happen. I want to see a hometown hero in these next 2 games against Pukesburg. Get him the fucking ball!

The more Njoku is targeted the worse he is. This year he is at his highest reception percentage of his career. But he has only 24 targets.

Janovich has only had 5 targets this year and has 2 catches. Kitchens is a moron and most of you know that. Do you really want FK over KS? Hilarious! Hard to believe the Browns were in a better place than in 2019 at 6-9 with one game left than 10-5 with one game left. 🙃

Hunt should've been used more the same as Chubb, but the jets game plan was to not let the RB's beat them on account of we had nobody else to even threaten the deep ball and they knew it. Run blitz all day. Play single high safety and pay attention to the TE's. Even flat passes become cluttered with defenders.

Anyway, it seems just a bit over reactionary to fire KS. Pissed? Hell yeah!!

No way I’d fire Stefanski! But I think that guy did have a couple valid points on Hunt. He needs to see more of the field. The guy is so versatile, there’s no reason not to take advantage of that. Particularly in last weeks game for obvious personnel reasons.

Doug Dieken explained it last night on Browns Red Zone. The OLine had a backup LT and a backup RG so we couldn't get any consistency on either side running the ball or passing.

I'd add to that and say Harris is our 3rd string interior OLineman. We still should have run the ball more with Bryant as a FB who can split out and motion or block.

KS should've been trying different things in the run game too.

Call it rookie coach growing pains... I'm just glad there was not many.. Now lets see if KS adjusts or remains stubborn like Crappenheimer...
