NFL Draft - Cam Ward | Barking Hard

NFL Draft Cam Ward

I'd do whatever it takes to move to 1. Not interested in the leftovers.
If they like Shedeur, I don't think it's as costly as people think.
The mock engines say one 3rd rounder would do it, based on draft value charts, both the Harvard and Jimmy Johnson.
We know it'll take more. I'd throw two 3rds at them (a 2025 and 2026) and maybe even Newsome.

AI says it'll take a 2nd rounder. Man I don't want to give up pick 33.

My memory is a bit fuzzy. How did CLE end up with 33 when they have 2nd overall? Did they get it from the Titans or was it from someone else who got it from the Titans?

I am not sure.

But at this point you have two choices.

1: Pony up and trade up one spot with the Titans.

2: Tank next season for Manning.

Simple as that. Sanders probably isn't worth risking a #2 overall pick on and outside of Cam Ward the QB talent pool steeply drops off. If I were this FO the stench of humiliation over the Watson trade would be too much to handle and I would be desperate enough to make a big move to get that position right.

Glad to see ya back man.. Wondered what happened to you...

Meanwhile the Titans had their entire organization there.

And...it's a pro day. Watching a guy throw a scripted showing to guys he knows inside and out against air to me tells you nothing, and attendance at means nothing.

Multiple meetings and private workout with just the player is going to tell you more.

#1 overall will cost any team more than what those charts and AI is going to spit out. It's going to cost you a first round pick no matter who you are.

Because TEN, CLE, and NYG all finished 3-14. Because of the various different "tie breakers" TEN gets the first pick in the first round, CLE gets the first pick in the second round, and NYG get the first pick in the 3rd round

How did CLE end up with 33 when they have 2nd overall?

The top pick in each round rotates between the top 3 teams. So the order at the top of each round goes ...

Round 1: Titans, Browns, Giants
Round 2: Browns, Giants, Titans
Round 3: Giants, Titans, Browns
Round 4: Titans, Browns, Giants
Round 5: Browns*, Giants, Titans
Round 6: Giants, Titans, Browns
Round 7: Titans, Browns, Giants

*of course, we traded our 5th rounder this year

Since the return we have taken the consensus #1 guy at QB once. In 1999. Since then it has been "well let's kick the tires on one of the runner ups."

Nah. You gotta work out and meet with the #1 QB. You gotta make the attempt at getting the #1 QB in the draft. No more runner up. No more runner up to the runner up. No more reclamation projects.

Shit or get off the pot. Do what you have to do to get Cam Ward. If that fails then position yourself for #1 next year and get Manning or Allar.
