NFL Draft Cam Ward

Can't keep giving away our first round picks imo.

If they are taking a QB at #2, stay pat, take whoever isn't taken at #1.
I agree, we can't keep blowing years worth of draft picks on one position.

That said, the issue is there's a QB #1 in this draft, then a massively steep drop off. Don't 3 years of draft picks on grabbing a guy just to have a guy, but also don't blow your load on some all hype prospect whose ceiling is Tavaris Jackson just because his dad has a famous last name.

I've said all along I'm fine with either. Personally, if the Titans take Ward, I'm drafting Sanders. But if the Browns think Ward is the next coming of Jayden Daniels and Sanders is the next Derek Carr, then they should do what it takes to get Ward. I'll support the Browns either way. But this is a draft of immense importance for the Browns' future. No excuses for Berry. He's got to get this one right. Other than the Watson disaster, and you all know how I felt about that trade from the beginning, I think Berry has done a good job bringing in talent.

I'm 100% with every word here. I'll add, if Charles is right, in that Haslam pushed the Watson deal through the front office, then Berry has been incredibly handcuffed in recent years.

Also, people learn and grow. AB is still the youngest GM in the league. We can't desire and long for a stable franchise by starting over every 3-4 years. I'd vote at least 2 more years for Berry. He just needs to find THE QB. Once you have that, your successful draft picks and signings are celebrated, and your misses are minimized.

Berry needs to find more than a QB... His drafts have been less than mediocre

There's the brutal hard facts.

Look, I get it, we are fans and we want, no, NEED something, anything to be exited about after 26 years of mediocrity. I completely get it.

But Berry is dog shit. His drafts have been dog shit. His trades have been dog shit. It is convenient the SJW Media is trying to leak all of these stories that Truckstop Jimmy forced poor little Radio to blow 5 years of growth on a mediocre, multiple rapist QB.

It doesn't fly. Haslem isn't going to get all hot and bothered over Watson without his baseball nerd and his GM hyping up the player. Truckstop Jimmy wasn't the one that kept playing an injured Baker to throw him under the bus and run him out of town. It wasn't Jimmy who brought in another rapist QB by signing Winston.

That's all on Berry. The guy is the worst GM in the NFL and you don't "give him a few more years to figure it out" after how badly he has shit the bed.

We had a chance to become a good team for a good while before the Watson fiasco. I hated that fucking trade. I thought Baker should be our QB for the next decade. It broke my heart the Browns weren't mature enough to let Baker mature. But Jimmy and Berry wanted it all: Super Bowl or Bust. And we all know which one we got. But I don't think anyone thought Watson would be terrible. I get it. Go for it all. But my goodness, are they so daft Watson easily pulled the wool over their eyes? Watson convinced them he would be all-in, and then he never even once acted like he was going to lead this team anywhere but to his bank account. Biggest disaster in NFL history. And now we pay the price. If Berry doesn't knock it out of the park with this draft, he won't be here for the 2026 draft.

When he was traded for, the biggest discussion was whether asking for handjobs was considered rape or not.
