I think drama is far from guaranteed.
He's in a room with a super bowl winning qb, a past first rounder, and a guy drafted ahead of him. And he's just been humbled.

He may come off as overly confident, but there's never been a disruptive asshole vibe to him.

I'm rooting for the kid because he's a Brown now..

It's just amazing at how many people I've seen angry at the Browns front office for passing on a player in the 1st round, or the second round. . . a player that they could have in the 5th round. And those people will continue to insist they know better than the professional football people. And they will never admit that Berry and crew at least kind of know what they're doing.

A few people, myself included, joked that we needed to take a few QBs until we got the position solidified. And the icing on the cake, with all of the QBs on the roster, my guess is that Watson will not see the field in a Browns uniform again.

Let's see how the competition plays out, might be exiting to watch.

If he's reasonably productive or if Pickett is reasonably productive, that is trade bait to get the QBOTF next year if needed. Two number ones and a decent NFL ready QB? Not a lot of teams would pass on that offer.

Teams will need to see it on the field. At least in preseason. They'll have to be the preseason darling like Josh Dobbs was a few seasons ago. Problem is, it's the Browns and they will trade the wrong guy.
