Pick #35 Nick Chubb | Page 12 | Barking Hard

Pick #35 Nick Chubb

Browns offense is gonna cause nightmares. Two Pro Bowl backs behind a playoff-type OL is exhausting as hell... oh, and then Baker/OBJ/Landry/Hooper/Njoku/Hunt.

It's the kind of situation that's been making Cousins look like a HOFer. I think Baker is quite a bit better.

Our O-line run blocking grade last year was bottom 10. BOTTOM 10.

Hubbard was our lowest ranked O-lineman - that’s been fixed.
G-Rob and the funky bunch was our next lowest ranked - that’s gonna be fixed.

In two years, Chubb has average just over 1,200 yards per season thus far, and now he’ll have an improved RT, LT, and TE. And an FB. And a smarter coach who emphasized the run game.

He’s gonna be a top 5 fantasy pick.

He can't be much better than last year, which is kind of mindblowing knowing how much he did on his own. But even another uptick will make him a 5-yard guy (plus), and in this offense, he's likely to get upwards of 320 to 350 carries... and that's a lot of real estate.

You face a team like that, you're all about stopping the run. And that's gonna make Baker, OBJ, Landry, Hooper, and Njoku very happy. Bryan Edwards, too (!!).

Can't be much better than last year is soooooo stupid of a thing to say, like completely crazy.
He had Larry the cable guy pulling him outa games at critical moments lmfao.
Most ridiculous things I read on BH come from shampoo

Love it!

Thought about making a “ice cold takes” thread (haven’t yet), and I’m proud to say of all my shitty takes, “let’s draft Saquon at 1” wasn’t one of them!

The NFL’s “low RB value” combined with our front office’s “low LB value” is one of the theories (Ryan Burns?) as to why we won’t take Simmons.

Just a 2 cents from Twitter stuff.

They are very different. LB is low only in pay value. But unlike RB LBs don't fall off a cliff in production after 3-6 years. Also the RB production in today's game simply doesn't fall of dramatically from the team with the all world RB and the one with the lesser name

Masters, I stated as much elsewhere but it was ignored...like any/all posts that point out that a strong MLB is the QB of the defense and can make or break it.

As for Chubb...he is signed through 2021.

Berry has stated he likes to hit the iron hot and early, so I fully expect a contract to be signed immediately following the 2020 season...likely 3 yrs

BTW, I agree with that: LBs do indeed play longer and there's no doubt there's value to that guy who can cover, hold up against the run (enough), and "be a coach on the field." No doubt.

RB is gonna get even harsher with how those 2nd deals have been working out, really reinforced that philosophy. Chubb has no optional 5th as a 2nd rounder but we can pick up a fourth year option (right?) and then franchise. Getting him for 5 or 6 years would sure be nice.

Maybe he's That Guy and we can ride him to 30. I'd love it but like many have said... it's so precarious.

I'd pay for an elite franchise running back at his peak... for one year... to win it all. If he's the best back in football, paying him the average of the top 5 isn't necessarily wrong (although I definitely get the logic).

Just depends on the situation. Stefanski's offense is so RB-heavy, had stars at both places.

I thought R2 was 3-years with optional 4th? No?
