When you're accused of DV, and you're a 2nd rounder, you let the process play out.

Personally, I have no problem with this fact. It's true of every level of sport. More talent = more leeway. Being fair, has nothing to do with it.

However, I don't see how he wiggles out of this one, in the end. Especially if some Ring doorbell footage comes out. The NFL won't tolerate that optic, no matter what the legal result is.

That's the official charge at the moment, but AM radio in CLE say that's often the initial charge until more details are shored up.

We have only heard one side of the story so far.

I find it convenient though that they can sit him now with an injury while the legal process plays out.

Who knows? If he’s guilty of what he’s accused of then yes he’s should be on the street.(or in jail)

I didn't see anything about charges other than DV and it wasn't specific that he injured anyone, nor did I see/hear a report about anyone going to the hospital.
Yelling and threatening isn't as bad as "dragging" but if the victim didn't IMMEDIATELY go to the hospital, it's not as horrible. If the victim went to the hospital after talking to her lawyer this could really go Hall's way. Like if the victim was beating on him when he picked her up and took her out of the house. That can easily be looked at as self preservation on his part.
The gun thing is all about the he said she said bull shit, depending on how others write their statements. Another thing is if he was at his house or were they at somebody else's residence. Small things can make a difference like if she rolled up on him uninvited and started shit or vice versa. A cam video would certainly end most all speculation on him dragging her and having a gun in hand like media reports are making it sound.

Anyway, a DV is one of the hardest situations for PD to resolve at the scene.
