His argument is Atlanta has only 5 picks this Draft, and 2 of them are in the 7th Round. In a Draft like this, where the talent levels out relatively early, it may be better for them to get an extra 2 selections (67, '26 2nd), with a trade back to the start of the 2nd. In truth, for Atlanta it really is picking up 2 extra 2nds for the trade back since 67 is at the top of the 3rd.Why would a team give up their middle of the 1st round pick for two 2nd round picks and a third?
Minnesota is the only team with fewer picks. They have 4 and have been heavily rumored to be interested in moving back for extra picks.
