What's on your mind?

A week ago my wife brought home a packet of info that one of her clients gave her. The clients husband is 70 and has hearing loss very similar to mine (I'm at 95% loss both ears currently).
it's the cochlear implant. The guy was kind enough to let me try his(only 10%effective held to your head compared to what it would be with the actual implants.
My emotions and anxiety has been goin through the roof. For 32 years I haven't had any HOPE of ever hearing again.Regular hearing aids would never work. when he held his headset to my skull I felt the vibration from sounds, and even though garbled, knew there were people talking behind me. Thats a first in over 3 decades. Guy made me cry a lil because he said he could now hear all the beautiful birds n his yard ...from indoors!
I haven't heard a bird in eons, I've never heard my wife, I've never heard my students.
So what's on my mind is...will it work for me?...Will be finding out the 12th of dec :)

You can load them to your album here (under User CP, there's an option for Pictures and Albums).

bike will add more photos when I get em off my phone
in low light the bike looks totally black the pearls only show in light ... more light more they show... true "ghost flame/pearl)

thanks Socal on both counts! In those pics the ass end of the bike wasn't put together yet, is now! will try to get pics tonight at class of the completed project ! My wife has never seen anything I painted custom, she wants to set my garage up as a custom bike shop now lol
 
I had posted here previously about getting my hearing back. Well I'm home from the hospital, I now have cochlear implants!. turn on is one week from today( they think I'll heal fast from the surgery)
