As a season ticket holder, I am really excited about this. First of all, Myles Garrett is absolutely correct. TONS of teams play in stadiums outside of the city limits, in suburbs. So the narrative that "Cleveland is losing the team" is nonsense. I also hear a whole lot of people saying that football is meant to be played in the elements. . . or AFC North Football should be played outside. That's a fine opinion, but as a season ticket holder, I ALWAYS have games in November/December, when the weather gets cold and wet, that NOBODY will buy. (And it has nothing to do with their record, because last year when we had our best record in forever, I had two games that I couldn't sell the tickets). Nobody wants to fill the stadium when the weather gets bad. So for that reason, we need a dome.
