Browns Browns are moving to Brook Park

If sunlight is let in it should be natural grass. Roof angles schmoof angles. I think the height limitation is a factor because of their proximity to the airport. Idk, just guessing, but I wouldn't want a generic dome cap either.

Are there better examples of a domed roof?

The inside looks amazing. In the end, that's what counts.
I'm surprised they haven't marketed the roof more. I'd be saying something like "We know there are those who love the outdoor experience, and others who don't care for the extreme elements. So, this glass roof's idea is to bring in the outdoors, while having a more consistent and climate controlled gameday experience. There's nothing like it in football". It's actually unprecedented in northern NFL stadiums.

The Texlon ETFE roof Haslam plans to use is known to be "highly transparent", with the idea to "flood with field with natural light"

Assuming that's the idea. Has to be.

Having a domed roof just takes away home field advantage IMHO... It takes away from the mystique and uniqueness that is "CLEVELAND" It's like.. It makes us a sissy football team... I don't see Packer fans crying for a dome... I think its pure caca... It's destroying the Identity of this team and it's fan base IMHO...

I will say, how come the college stadiums last for 50+ years, and the Browns and Bengals both are claiming they need either new, or billion dollar renovations?

I suppose the answer is the college stadiums aren't looking at grass-is-greener opponents. Every owner wants to have a state of the art stadium, but still, I don't think the Browns stadium is about to be condemned.

If the Browns are forced to stay on the lake, I wouldn't spend another penny in it, other than very minimal maintenance.
Let our Lake Erie neighbors do the indoor thing, and the shiny new thing.
We'll just stick with our old outdoor shit and claim toughness.
