Browns Browns are moving to Brook Park

You are so delusional toward Stefanski it's funny. "Reports of locker room dysfunction." Where? "
They just said it again AM on The RBS 850 AM here.

Also, we got rid of some of those players who weren't doing much of anything. Like Quinton Jefferson and the Zadarius trade in the middle of the season. Just guys abandoning ship early.

We traded Smith because we knew we weren't going to resign him and the season was over with Watson's injury and the Lions needed him and we got a good value. We didn't trade him because of a locker room issue. Please stop with the locker room dysfunction narrative. Of course no one is very happy. It would be bad if no one were upset.

I didn't start the locker room narrative DA.

I said what I heard on sports talk this AM after you asked "Where"? WTF?!

lol Masters only believes the newspaper apparently? I like getting my news from beat writers who also have radio jobs. They are the closest to the coaches and players, and you can gleen a lot more nuance from listening to them openly speaking and answering questions they don't necessarily expect on the radio.

Four out of 5 years, locker room drama. I know because I have a brain, and a good memory, and I listen. I haven't read a newspaper in over a decade. Discount it if you like, I don't care. 🤷

As if every losing team that ever existed doesn't have some "locker room drama." Only Stefanski's teams, I'm sure. Like I said before, there'd really be something wrong if everyone on the team was happy about this season.

One can say the same about ownership.

There'd really be something wrong if ownership was happy about this season or the FO. The FO's response could be to bring in new players & coaches. Ownership's response could be more than that.

Decent video. If you’re not into watching a 12min stadium video, the gist is…

It truly mirrors our situation. Climate, public funding-wise, desire to be innovative and cutting edge, 66,000 seats, the naysayers on tax payer $ used for a privately owned team, etc. As we all know, it’s supposedly the Haslam inspiration.

It opened in 2016.

Bottom line: it worked

The whole "city politicians griping" thing is remarkably silly.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Lake front improvement been happening at a glacial pace.
Jimmy and Dee are taking the team only 20 minutes drive down the road.
For perspective, ask your self: "How long does it take to drive from one side of Cleveland to the other side?".
What are the dimensions of Cleveland?

Also, Browns headquarters are in Berea, Ohio. That is where it will remain. They aren't moving out of Cleveland, they're just moving where they play the games in the NE Ohio area, which, is a stone's throw / rapids ride / quick-car-ride / Uber away from downtown.

The spirit of the Model Law, which isn't enforceable, is that they don't leave the area. They haven't been Cleveland-based in forever.

Glacial pace is right. If someone comes to visit Cleveland and says to you "hey, where can I eat on the water?", what's the answer? Pathetic.

Ummmm.... and internet search would find something from beat writers, allegedly insiders, etc. Be it from the paper they work for, their blog, the insider pay site, or hell even their twitter. What it likely won't find is OPINIONS stated by drive time radio talk show hosts.

This sound not only like sports talk opinion being turned in to actual reporting, it sounds like one without the nonsense "unnamed source(s)".

Browns at a crossroads: Where Cleveland went wrong in 2024, and what comes next

A decent read. Though you probably won't like these parts (i take these with a grain of salt since it is unnamed sources and its been getting exposed a lot that more often than not unnamed source = straight up BS):

"AS RUMORS AND speculation swirled about Stefanski's job security earlier this season, multiple players publicly and privately expressed support for him. Two locker room sources said Stefanski's messaging has not grown stale despite the team's struggles. One noted how Stefanski's willingness to relinquish playcalling duties was an example of his flexibility and willingness to pore over the team's process in search of a solution. Another praised his "demeanor" in a tough season and noted "you might not always know what he's thinking, but ... he's so methodical."

"One light criticism of Stefanski among a few Browns players over the years had been that they might not get to know him on a personal level like other coaches. Soul-baring isn't exactly his thing, though one ex-Stefanski aide says the coach sometimes opts to give the locker room its space, especially during winning times, as a way to keep the emphasis on player relationships."
