Browns Browns are moving to Brook Park

I have a bad feeling about KS losing the locker room
Well, we've seen (John) Harbaugh and Shanny players refuse to play here in December. The Jets players are chirping. Titan's Callahan is losing his shit in his pressers.

Meanwhile, Myles gives the very calm explanation as it just didn't gel this year ... and he's called coaches out on shit before.

Who knows though. Certainly not me sitting here typing on a keyboard lol.

I hope you and @OconRecon are right.

I have a bad feeling about KS losing the locker room. It might be Watson's effect. Idk.
They don't seem to care about him losing the locker room. This wouldn't be the 1st 2nd or 3rd time.

We have a Cleveland coaching dream team within our reach right now, and we are just going to keep going with this proven loser ...mind boggling. In fact, I don't believe it can be possible. He's gone.

Except there hasn't been a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd report of losing the locker room, or anything even in the neighborhood of a report

And no, Vrabel and McDaniels are both a dream team. Being from NE Ohio is bottom of the list qualifications

". . . change for changes sake."

We've had some stability around here for a few years. Just what we need. A return to firing the head coach every two seasons. That will get us a Super Bowl quick. And when Vrabel has a losing record 2 years in a row, you'll want to fire him and start over.

It's pretty easy to get from "Who else is there" to let's get anyone but Kev.

Our QB room is fucked for the near future. We're not going to win shit until we get it straightened out. And that's almost impossible unless Watson turns it completely around. We're not going to win no matter who is coaching in our present condition.

We're lucky to have Stefanski. I think he's holding the team together pretty well. We played hard today. With ZERO chance of winning with DTR at QB.

I never said anyone but Kev. You did.

Anyway, I think KS has less and less a chance to stick around with each pathetic loss. Losses where we see INT's, fumbles and penalties. The staple of KS teams we see.

You call it playing hard. I'll call it ME's. ME's that result in TO's and penalties. Me's + penalties are a direct reflection of the coaching staff.

Unless ownership knows this is all related to Watson, or specifically something else not attributable to the staff & FO, we should expect a change.

It's possible Dorsey was forced on KS and that combined with Watson ambushed the team's plans for this season. Idk.

I think Jimmy has turned the corner as an owner. Firing Stefanski would make us look dumber than the Watson trade, which is hard to do. Stefanski is respected around the league by everyone but a few old school blow-it-all-up-every-year-until-we-win-a-Super-Bowl-clueless-fans. No decent coach will want to come here. I'm not even sure Vrabel would take the job. And I also don't think he's a better coach than Stefanski.

In the end, it doesn't make much difference. We're in purgatory for the next year (at least) because of the Watson fiasco.

Even with that one massive fuck-up, I think Berry has done a good job of assembling a solid team. Our window for having a contender has closed though. Perhaps Chubb comes back healthy and full-strength next season and maybe the O-line has a better season (but we are no longer talked about as a first-class O-line). Bitonio is getting old fast (33). Left tackle is a void. Pocic isn't very good. Even with a Watson miracle comeback, we sure aren't winning a Super Bowl or even the division next season -- no matter who the coach is.

It's a tough time to be a Browns fan again -- big surprise.

The question is . . . will Myles Garrett become the next Joe Thomas?

If KS is responsible for all the ME's, penalties and locker room dysfunction he has to be let go.

NFL group think love for KS doesn't matter. It could be true that KS is a good coach and that he is done coaching here too. I don't care about our window, an old OLine or Watson.

The team doesn't play smart, tough and accountable football, like their mantra says. We don't see that on the field.

What locker room dysfunction? This team has held together remarkably well considering the lack of a decent RB or QB.

We've had two of the best seasons in the last 2 decades under Stefanski, one when we didn't have a decent QB (last season). We were closer to the AFC Championship in 2020 than we have ever been (in the new Browns era). Stefanski was fantastic last year holding this mess together and making the playoffs. This season has been a disaster -- mostly because of poor QB play. Watson -- no excuse -- he flat out sucked. Not Stefanski's fault. Jameis is Jameis, what's a coach to do? But with Winston, we saw what Stefanski's offense is capable of, minus the horrible ints. DTR is not an NFL QB. Chubb is still a shadow of himself. With a better offense, the defense would be much better. How do we get a decent offense next season? Surely not by changing the coach and keeping the same players. As I said in a different post, get Stefanski Cousins (someone he has coached successfully before) and see how the offense looks. Stefanski has done really well when he has a healthy and decent NFL QB and he did really well last season without one.

Cousins and a decent RB to help Chubb until he's his old self and we'll be decent next season.

I wouldn’t hate McDaniels as the OC along with Cousins. He’s used to a tough veteran QB who knows football. That’s Cousins.

KS, JM, and Cousins and then draft a QB (or two). I’d be good with that.

Cam Ward early
Will Howard on Saturday.

HC - Stefanski
OC - McDaniels
QB1 - Cousins
QB2 - Ward
QB3 - Howard

How’s that, Myles?

No chance McDaniels comes in with Stefanski still here. Zero..

3 out of 5 years there has been locker room dysfunction, and there were reports of it this season as well ...probably with more stories to come.

You currently have your best player putting your FO on notice if they don't show him a clear path to a Superbowl this off-season he wants traded.

This clown has had 5 years after being gifted one of the most talented rosters in all of football. He has coached them into the ground, and got asst coach after asst coach after asst coach fired for his incompetence.

But hey, at least he has managed to hang onto the drunken lesbian and gets along really well with the female GM.

Our franchise is a joke.

You are so delusional toward Stefanski it's funny. "Reports of locker room dysfunction." Where? ". . . most talented rosters in all of football." He had Baker healthy for one season and almost went to the AFC Championship. Other than 2020, our QB situation has been an unmitigated disaster since Baker foolishly tried to tackle that dude. And last season, with a patchwork sub-NFL talented QBs and an old Joe Flacco, he took us to the playoffs.

As long as I've been on this forum, you've been one of the we have to have a top ten or top 5 QB to win proponents. Probably why you were so happy about the Watson trade. Now, because of your hate for Stefanski, you've morphed into we don't even need a decent QB, Stefanski should have won the Super Bowl with DTR!

Every fanbase considers their franchise a joke in a down year.
Denver last year, for example.

He's been gifted with one year of a decent Mayfield, and was one (not called) helmet to helmet call on Higgy from advancing to the AFC Championship.

The rest of the time, the rest of the roster doesn't matter, as he's been dealt shit QB's. Nobody wins with shit QB's.

Vrable, McDaniels, Belichick, Peyton, O'Connell etc etc. Doesn't matter. All would fail, and have, with bad QB play.

And none will come, if they're dealt a broken Watson, INT-machine Winston, and horrible DTR to work with.

I'm not sure McDaniels has a known opinion on KS. And for sure, nobody is calling him for an HC job.

You are lying again. I always have said it would take a dominant defense to win with an average QB. We had that last season, and it carried Stefanski and his inept offense to a fraudulent Coach of the Year award. We went nowhere.

I do desperately want a franchise QB. We acquired one and then the coach ran him into the ground.

And it's up for debate whether Baker is a franchise QB who Stefanski chased out of town with mismanagement.

Name me a coach who ruined two franchise QBs. I'll wait

Any average NFL HC could win with our roster. Look as Pittsburgh who has a far worse roster than we do. They pick up trash at QB and just win.

3 wins. Laughing stock of the NFL. You currently have national media personalities suggesting the Browns should be removed from the NFL again.
