Listened to the whole thing. It was nice to have someone asking football only questions, rather than MKC thinking we all care about what's pending in Texas.

If you're not familiar with the way Chopz does his Spaces, he gives a couple of minutes to let the room fill up, so it starts around the 2-minute mark. Oh, and with zero warning, he does a darn good job of coming up with questions and conversation.

Then you're expecting we'll not do well.

Some fans are all up in a bunch about Watson not being off-season ranked in the top10 of QB's and the Browns predicted to come in 3rd in the AFCN. BUT, until all of these additions prove it on the field, I think it's all fair.

Lamar and Joe have won the division before. Watson and the Browns have not. 100% we are going to be predicted to be medium at best until we have a season or two of 10+ wins.

Well I'm a bit disturbed by all the love we're getting on Twitterverse and other Socials when we haven't played a goddamn game yet with this group...I see titles like "Browns putting together Super Bowl team".. Then I remember Odell, Mayfield and others putting the league on notice in a preseason game then failing miserably... So until this squad proves something.. It's just all "talk" to me... P R O V E IT!

I've consistently seen

1) Watson being questioned if he can return to form
2) Watson still getting bashed after paying the legal, personal, and NFL price for it.
3) Stefanski on the hottest HC seat in the division
4) 3rd place in the AFCN
5) 9 win prediction

Watson isn't even listed in the top-10 QB's, but Kirk Cousins is? I wouldn't call that love.

I've not seen glowing, at least not nationally, expectations or predictions. Local fanboi posts, sure, you'll always have those. But no objective national voice feels we have a shot.

Tankathon has us (well, the Texans using our pick) selecting 17th overall next year.
PFF has us picking 19th.
Not much confidence.

I'm excited for August 2nd. 100%. But as far as expectations go, unlike a lot of past years, I'll sit and wait ... but I'll still probably post fanboi stuff now and then haha. But, it's not reflective of my expectations. Hopefulness though, sure.

We're obviously seeing different links.. I see a bunch of vids on youtube calling the Browns SB contenders,, SB team being built , etc...
 
Maybe those aren't even hitting my radar, as they're bs until we prove otherwise. Come to think of it, I havn't clicked on many hype-vids. Perhaps I'm subconsciously dodging that content.

Lamar and Joe are just too good to be discounted, and even though peak-Watson compares well to them, we have to wait to see if that guy returns.

I totally agree nationally. we seldom are even spoke of when AFC comes up. I don't spend time on tweeter it reminds me of a urinal at the old stadium.
I am hopeful we are going to be a playoff team. would be nice to win 1 game there. if that happens I lose my mind posting wise.
