NFL Draft Shedeur Sanders

No, No, No. Cam Ward is the beat. Say it over and over and over until the Titans believe it.

I think the Titans are going to take a run at Darnold or another QB in FA and either pick a position player or trade out of 1. They are very poorly run organization and will prove it in again in this draft.

The worry for me is that the NYG or LV Raiders trade up to 1 to get Sanders. That is a nightmare scenario for me.

If the concerns about the Giants or Raiders trading into the top spot really are valid then perhaps the Browns should call the Titans first and negotiate to trade up one spot. If they really believe in Sanders then moving up one spot should seem cheap.

So, Sanders is supposed to have a 40 time of 4.65.
His running style has been compared to Mahomes, meaning instinctive enough, and "fast" enough, to get the first down.

Mahomes' 40 time was 4.80
Josh Allen's 40 time was 4.75
Jalen Hurts' 40 time was 4.59

The average NFL QB is supposedly at 4.80

(& before someone mentions it, his HC tenure here has nothing to do with this QB evaluation, and Sanders has the numbers to back up the claims)

Exerpt from Shurms article:

Sanders completed 74 percent in 2024 for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His career 71.8 completion percentage is the Division I record, according to Sports Reference | Sports Stats, fast, easy, and up-to-date | Sports-Reference.com.

He did it all behind a suspect line that left him dealing with consistent pressure and taking “big hits.” He didn’t flinch.

“He’s very calm,” Shurmur said.

Seems like a pretty normal dude, especially for being the son of Prime. I've watched a fair amount of his videos, and he has a calm persistence about him. Some who are obviously driven wear it on their sleeve. Not him, he just keeps going.

We're about to enter a Ward/Sanders roller coaster aren't we.

I think there's enough roster work that needs to be done that one could say it should start now, but I also think the FO can't afford to act accordingly because they would likely get fired.

They're trying to hit a HR with a rookie QB and keeping MG in their plans.
It's not a good position for them to be in and us as fans to trust them.

I find Sanders to be woefully average. Zero elite traits. Plenty of "accurate" QBs who went up against nobody who are coming out of college we can draft. This is a guy who would rather take a sack than an incompletion for fear of what it looks like on paper. Hope someone takes him at 1, but he will drop if the Browns don't take him.

Cam Ward, trade down, or bust.

Yeah... the Raiders would rejoice while taking him at #6.
