NFL Draft - Shedeur Sanders | Page 5 | Barking Hard

NFL Draft Shedeur Sanders

Field Yates has him at 17 over all on his big board. Ward at 7. That doesn’t matter to me. I do like his write up though.

BTW, on sacks, if he takes on less sack per game, then he would have been sacked averagely. Knowing when to throw the ball away comes with maturity.

Fair enough. We will overdraft at the QB position. That's acceptable in our current situation.
1. Get a QB.
2. Coach him up in pre-season by letting him play and not standing on the sidelines.
3. Then hope he can play well enough to win enough games for a playoff berth.

...you never know, and Jimmy is watching this FO to see if they can draft high end talent after screwing up the Watson deal.

Btw, when Jimmy let John Dorsey go the alleged problem was that Dorsey didn't manage the cap well enough. Ain't that a bitch?!

How often do the Browns have the first or second overall pick?
Time to pick a sorely needed QB no matter how many names are already on that damn jersey.
I fear Berry will be suffering from "smartest man in the room syndrome" when the draft starts.
If he doesn't take Ward or Sanders then it's a hopeless situation with Berry.
If they don't do that then they could reasonably trade down on Friday and still grab McCord in the second.

Unless AB intends to acquire Cousins before the draft. Idk.

If so, we have a distinct possibility of Cousins starting & Pickett the backup with a later round QB pick like Jalen Milroe.

I agree but Cousins for one year now also allows them flexibility and a lot of ways to go particularly if they only like one of the top 2 QB's in the draft, ie: Trade down to 10-15 for a bundle of picks next year. Trade down a couple of spots for a couple of high picks next year. Hell, maybe trade down for a younger QB on somebody's roster and picks like the Michigan kid in Minnesota.

Myles all but confirmed it is Sanders. Why? We don't control any FA's decision. We can't force a team to trade with us. What we control is #2. And it has become clear Ward is the favorite to go #1.

"I think we have a good chance of that happening and making the most out of it."

IE if Sanders is the Plan, he's already a Brown. Stefanski has his 1st & Only Chance with a 1st Round QB after an array of cheap veterans.
