That's a 27 year old beast that was so disruptive this year in the huddle, on the sidelines and off the field that they they wanted to divorce themselves from him.

Miami sports writer was just on NFL network saying the team didn't want him there to disrupt the transition of their new QB and new coach.

Chicago sports writers are saying that Cutler talked Lovie Smith into it because they were together in Denver.

Sometimes there's a good reason these guys get traded for what seems to be a very low price. Hell, he even has a very friendly cap figure but it seems this guy makes Braylon Edwards actually look like a team player.

As far a FA WRs.............it's a two way street. You got to get someone who is willing to come to Cleveland and be Colt McCoy's target. Yea, we need WRs, even someone willing to let us overpay them. But, cancers need not apply.

I thought the same thing but who knows if the Fins were actively shopping him or just accepted the Bears offer to unload him...

With WR Brandon Marshall gone from Miami to da Bears and Garcon signing w/Washington, who is Manning going to throw to if he takes his talents to South Beach?
 
Redskins appear on the verge of signing Pierre Garcon (done), Eddie Royal, and Josh Morgan... with RGIII? Talk about vertical... sheesh. You know who loves this? Roy Helu.

Looks like the Browns are sitting on their hands (which they are good at) while everybody else is talking to some of the best players available. Just like they sat on their hand with trading with the Rams. The Browns are a joke:grumpy:

Really....................................As reported by many people the Browns and Redskins were both asked to submit final offers. The Brown submitted 3 #1s and the Redskins submitted 3 #1s and a #2. How's that sitting on their hands?

As far as FA goes I think there are still over 500 UFAs available and about 4 have signed.

Come on man.........give it time, but with that said, Heckert addressed the browns intent in Fa and it isn't adding any aged veterans to a team that is not ready for prime time. They have identified some FAs and will work from there.

They have got a few of their own FAs back under contract but how do you know where their hands are. I don't think anyone here is privy to what they are doing or how aggressive they are or aren't. Fact is it's not easy to get guys to even consider Cleveland for many reasons and FA is a two way street. The FA actually gets a say.

Garcon, a #2 WR at best gets 5 years at $42 million, with over 20 million guaranteed. And a receiver who played like 5 games for San Fran get 2 years at $12 million with 7 milllion guaranteed.

That's Snyder......great use of what cap money you don't have. Amazing how the best of the best are flocking to Washington. Maybe it isn't just the government who likes to overspend or spend what they don't have, there must be something in the water in D.C.

-I have heard some rumblings recently that the Browns may explore a trade with Houston for backup running back Ben Tate. When asked about that possibility, a league source said, "I haven't heard anything along those lines but let's put it this way it wouldn't surprise me."

FA WR pool is drying up - Chargers sign Robert Meachum. In other news new Bears WR Brandon Marshall involved in another incident of allegedly hitting a woman that will be reviewed by the NFL.
 
CB Eric Wright (yes, that Eric Wright) just signed with the TB Bucs.

He gets $15.5 million guaranteed for the first 2 years, 5yrs/$38 million total. TB's GM is feeling overly generous.

Tampa Bay reached agreement with former Saints guard Carl Nicks on a five-year, $47.5 million deal including $31 million guaranteed.

Highest paid Guard in the NFL now. TB's GM breaking the bank and in full Philly aka "dream team" mode.
