Wow, talk about not going crazy, we really aren't doing anything. The only guy we REALLY could have used got signed and that's Winston. Don't know what happened there. Did we even call the guy?
I think that is the most important part. Maybe we get some solid OLB's in the draft and you might see our rushing defense improve.Nobody will ever know who they are calling and who they aren't. That Said, I think Frostie Rucker is a nice sign for the Browns. He's more then just a stop gap. He's not a premier pass rusher but he is a solid rusher and good against the run.
Great runblocker, but sloppy feet movement and lousy pass protection, gets turned too easily.Cardinals cut Hadnot
The Arizona Cardinals have quietly released veteran offensive lineman Rex Hadnot.
Hadnot, 30 was cut primarily for salary-cap purposes as he carried a $2.65 million salary-cap figure and was scheduled to make a $1.5 million base salary.
The Cardinals have interest in bringing him back, though. The 6-foot-2, 310-pounder started every game last season for the Cardinals. He's also expected to draw interest from other NFL teams looking for a versatile interior lineman.
He has previous stints with the Cleveland Browns and the Miami Dolphins and has started 93 of 114 career games.
