The path to FIFTEEN picks (no, I don’t know why we need 15, as really all I care about is the QB, and I don’t see where in this scenario, we end up with anything other than Cousins)
Trubisky-like trade, if you can get a third, fourth and future third by trading back one spot to a desperate Giants team that is going to be fired midseason if they don't hit on a quarterback then it should be a very tempting start.
Then they can look for a trade to move back based on whoever wants Hunter or another prospect in the draft, sending the second pick and a sixth rounder for a first rounder and a fifth rounder as well as a 2026 first rounder, ready for moving up for a quarterback next year.
This would be turning the 2nd pick and a 6th into:
6th pick
Giants 3rd
Giants 4th
Raiders 5th
2026 Raiders 1st
2026 Giants 3rd
If we work on the basis they also add the Glenn Cook compensation pick as well as getting the final selection in the draft too they are left with these picks:
1st - One
2nd - One
3rd - Four
4th - Two
5th - Two
6th - Four
7th - One
