Colts wasted that talent, shame!I think he was the more rare "can't miss".

Yeah and Chuck Pagano isnt HC mat'l IMHO.. I'm sorry he has cancer and all.... But he fits better as a coordinator...Colts wasted that talent, shame!
But how much did he really love playing the game ?Colts wasted that talent, shame!
He looked mentally exhausted on the backend of his career. Owner gets caught with a briefcase of money and drugs, no OLine, no weapons and he played with a lacerated kidney(think kidney)! Dude had it rough! But how much did he really love playing the game ?
Absolutely you can’t pin his demise on one thing alone.I don't put it all on anyone. While Indy perhaps could have protected him better at times Luck also had a habit of holding on to the ball longer than he should and take on tackles when he ran.
Oh for sure. I completely respected him for retiring. I never fault any player for retiring at any time and for any reason they have. I don't believe you can plan the game and respect the game unless you are 100% in. If you thinking about retiring you are half way retired.Absolutely you can’t pin his demise on one thing alone.
But the fact that his body was riddled with career ending injuries still makes his retirement completely understandable.
This is why there is a school of thought, to trade Saturday picks, for proven NFL talent:
I don't blame him a bit.He looked mentally exhausted on the backend of his career. Owner gets caught with a briefcase of money and drugs, no OLine, no weapons and he played with a lacerated kidney(think kidney)! Dude had it rough!
I thought Luck was good but never elite..... Being in Manning's shadow didn't help either...Luck had taken a severe beating to his entire body.
Indy ended his career by not protecting him.
His injuries were severe enough to warrant retirement.
The draft is really about the 1st and 2nd rounds. After that pick a guy that has showed he has a specific skill and pray you/he can develop other areas of his game enough to get him on the field and not be a liability.Only something like 30% of drafted players each year make the 53 man roster of teams.
