• Week 1: They beat rookie CJ Stroud in his first NFL start.
• Week 2: They narrowly beat a struggling Joe Burrow.
• Week 3: They lost to Colts backup Gardner Minshew in OT.
• Week 4: They beat Browns rookie QB DTR in his first NFL start with 0 days preparation.
• Week 5: They are expected to face Steelers backup QB Mitch Trubisky.

The Ravens may end up being a top team this year, but QB injuries have worked in their favor this season, so far.

Which allows Jackson OJT in their new offense. He's more accurate in the dink and dunk offense.

The bitch for is is we are 1-2 in the division with a home loss to them and we can't play the Bengals three times.

We can quit saying he can't throw the football...... It's quite obvious he's work hard on it and he can... But it still doesn't answer the most important question... Can he make it an entire season without getting dinged. hurt , etc...

The Ravens scored 24 points yesterday vs the Titans. 18 of those points were FG's.
The Browns scored 19 points yesterday vs the Niners. 12 of those points were FG's.

The Ravens played the Titans and Tannehill, who we owned.
The Browns played the Niners and the top QBR QB, who have owned everyone lately, and they were the #1 power ranked team.

I'm not sure what my point is, other than to say if we get Watson back, and our D stays healthy, we have as good of shot as anyone else.

AFC North standings following Week 6

  1. Baltimore Ravens (4-2)
  2. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2), tie-breaker via 2-0 division record
  3. Cleveland Browns (3-2)
  4. Cincinnati Bengals (3-3)

First place in this meat grinder division on any given week is an accomplishment. I'd take the last week of the season in first place as the only week we spend in first place to be sure.

I heard earlier this week that the Browns are 7th in the playoff race and Indy is 8th making this game much bigger than our typical 6th game of the season, if it's accurate. And I know it's early.

I'm not quite sure why we are only a 2.5 favorite, and don't know why they're getting so much respect with their starting QB out.
There's only one conclusion to make, the odd makers don't believe Watson is "back", and maybe too, that losing Chubb matters.
