Text messages from DeRapist apologizing for his behavior, which he admitted to. An admission that sexual acts occurred "but they be all consensual an shit."

Mount Everest sized piles of evidence. Just admit you're a Browns homer that would wash Truckstop Jimmy's nuts and make excuses for the Browns actions no matter what and be done with it. This "there's no evidence, he's a choirboy" act is getting old. Instagram "massage therapists" or Backpage girls as we used to call them when I sold advertising for a living are predominantly hookers. Yes I know the SJWs will all be up in arms but sorry not sorry.

This message board makes me laugh. A microcosm of our world today. Full of extremists. Watson is either completely a scumbag of the earth and deserves the death penalty, or he's the perfect gentleman getting screwed over by gold-diggers.

The truth lies somewhere in-between. He clearly stepped out of bounds. As an NFL QB, he's got to have better judgement. Then again, he wasn't using massive amounts of coke and acting a fool like one of our former draft picks. And he didn't commit any "crimes."

But the league is not going to get shellacked by the media and woke activists. They are, in my opinion, going to come down hard on him. My guess is 8-10 games -- at least.
 
I'd be cool with an initial 8-10 games, because then it'll get appealed down to the 4-6 range.

I have to agree, I don’t think Jacoby can sustain success for 8 games. He’s an excellent backup but that’s a tall task for any player.
 
I personally would not be surprised at all if they suspend him for the year. It's the way of the world. Dude is innocent until proven guilty but he has the woke cancel culture mob on him, the media is amplifying the lie, and the circus only gets bigger.

It will suck, but even so, multiple Superbowls coming our way. If the NFL doesn't give in into the SJWs I will be surprised and impressed.

With a suspension looming, that's all the team is risking on him this season. (monetarily)

The 1M is his base salary. Basically that's all the money Watson can have salary deducted from during any suspension this year. He supposedly got 45M at signing.

Cap wise this year he is 10M as his signing bonus gets spread over the contract, as it counts as 9M against each year.

Overall CLE has risked 230M since his contract is fully guaranteed.

Signing bonus: $44.965 million, spread out over the length of the five year deal, averaging $8.993 million each season.

2022 base salary: $1.035 million, fully guaranteed.

2023 base salary: $46 million, fully guaranteed.

2024 base salary: $46 million, fully guaranteed.

2025 base salary: $46 million, fully guaranteed.
