Yep, send The Haslems franchise to San Diego cause the Cleveland Browns franchise died the second this shit bag owner bought them.He can move it now.. He's inept.. and has bastardized this franchise..
Yep All Browns fans will never be happy ever. I love talent and thats why I love Deshaun Watson. Guy is a flat out beast. Most of the fan base loves scrappy scrubs like Mayfield, yet those were the same dopes cursing Mayfield when he planted the flag down at Suckeye State. They love scrappy scrubs because it reminds them of their loser selves and their failed sports careers at the age of 12 when Little League became too tough for them.he just got us a FQB an you guys are still whining, bitching, complaining and assuming the very worst.

Ugh, the get a new owner. How has that worked out for the Browns, or pretty much any other team? Like it or not pro sports franchises are a tax right off and expensive toy for billionaires. All you can hope for is the owner puts the right people in charge, let's them do their job, and opens their wallet

Not sure I follow how that is BS. You gave the somewhat examples of owners who don't meet what I said you hope would open their wallets. With the Knicks that Dolan fits the owner who doesn't put right people in charge, doesn't get out of the way, and worse of all is an example of a billion air that treats his team as his toy. Dude is more worried about perception than results. Especially if critical of him. Knicks do spend, but on bad asset choices.BULLSHIT!!
Look what the Dolans have done to the Indians and the NY Nicks! They manage every penny and in doing so their franchises are hamstrung.
If these assholes can't run a team for fear of cost. G.T.F.O.!!!!
And to this point.. Haslam has... FAILED!
Yep had a 20 game plan from 95-00 I think. Once Dolan was quoted in Crains Business Weekly that he was going to run the franchise like a business and winning a World Series was in a perfect world goal, that told me all I needed to know, canceled my tickets and I have only been to 2 games since and that was to watch my Dodgers when they were in Town. Such a shame great place to watch a game but their antics are embarassing. 455 straight sellouts pre-DolanIf you look this over you'll find the tribe was drawing over 3 mil a year before the Dolan's.
there Were that many interested fans. some might if past on by now. but winning is important duh

Atta baby BDU.Has he? The Browns have been more competitive, future is looking bright, stadium got renovated, revamped the Berea offices and training facility, found his way to jerseys everyone loves, got a bunch of nationally recognised players, and the overall Browns brand is better than it was in the years prior.
On top of that, he's been very active with the team (Unlike the absentee Lerner), very active with fundraising in the community and shown a clear desire to learn from his mistakes.
It hasn't been perfect, plenty of missteps, but I don't get the Haslam hate. He didn't move the Browns, change the Browns for the worse, put a dome on the stadium, didn't try to modernise the franchise. All the shit people hated or were fearful of.
The hate Haslam gets is nuts. He's doing an excellent job.
Atta baby BDU.
There's is easily and pile of owners I'd rather not have vs the Haslams
Cowboys - Jerruh is the GM
Jags - hired Urbs with almost zero research
Bengals - as an agent said "they do with 3 people, what everyone else does with 24 (in the FO)"
Raiders - moved the team
Chargers - moved the team
Texans - racist POS's
Ravens - bitching about our money (btw, Haslams spend where the Dolans don't)
Colts - drunk owner
Commanders - Snyder in the news again yesterday
Bears - cute story, but she's like 110 years old
etc etc etc
Again, Haslam isn't perfect or flawless, but he's a heckuva sugar daddy for The Land, and if he gets his lakefront retractable dome (and after fighting the Cleveland weather problem with Watson, I believe a retractable dome is on the table), it's gonna be glorious.
For small market it goes both ways. As soon as they are not winning and drawing like that they can't afford the payroll like they are drawing that manyIf you look this over you'll find the tribe was drawing over 3 mil a year before the Dolan's.

Yeah i was against the Dome idea when they came back
Me too, but I've now been to Lucas Oil with the roof open and also with the roof closed. I strongly prefer open, as it feels like a normal football game, but the closed roof for Midwestern weather was darn handy.
Owners should have enough money to compete with any and all other owners. If they can't afford the highest salaries in their sport, at least for a few years in a row then don't bother. You will struggle and fall short.L

For the Indians Dolan they have spent, when they could. Baseball ecomnics are not the same as NFL or MLB. Small market MLB teams struggle financially. They simply can't spend like other teams
