NFL Draft Shedeur Sanders

Dorsey would take the QB who is good at QB-ing. A team without a QB is a team without hope. He'd draft Sanders, or go get Ward, because everything else is just dicking around until we have a QB1.

He'd go full-Dorse and not pick about a player because of analytics, intangibles, tools, or metrics. He'd just get the guy who can play. That's what he did with Mayfield while Grossi was getting busted off air calling Baker "a fucking midget".

Get the WR who WR's the best
Get the QB who QB's the best
Get the RB who RB's the best

etc etc.

Someone needs to take a Louisville slugger to that goddamn laptop. Because of that stupid motherfucker we lost out on Patrick Mahommes, Josh Allen, sent Mayfield over to the playoffs each year with Tampa Bay, blew 1/4 million dollars on a serial rapist who sucks ass as a QB and potentially pass on an elite QB prospect this year.

Does drafting Sanders make you worse than if you just roll with Pickett? No, it doesn't. Worst case scenario you end up rolling with Pickett anyways and win whatever you were already going to win. Best case scenario Sanders balls out like a madman and you've finally, FINALLY turned the Cleveland Browns around.

I'm not even in Camp Sanders, but the facts are the facts. We need a QB. He is a promising young prospect and a hardworking, high character young man. Shoot your shot. If it doesn't work then shoot another shot in a few years.

'Shoot your shot' is how we ended up with Deshwan Watson.
You need players. Many of them. So I think they roll with Pickett, maybe a day 2 or 3 draft pick qb and see what happens next year.
But I agree. If they like Sanders, they should not overthink it and draft him.

Nahh, Watson was more shooting yourself in the balls to prove to all the big mean "football types" you're smarter and tougher than they are.

Shooting our shot would have been drafting Garrett then as Mahommes fell cashing in our chips and trading up to draft him. Instead The Laptop gave him a day two draft grade behind Deshonne Kiser and we went with what The Laptop said to do.

Like I said, I am a Ward guy and an Allar in 2026 guy but thinking logically I don't know how you can sit here going "hey boss, we lost because we don't have a QB, so we are going to skip on drafting a QB again this year...." When you have a really good prospect guaranteed to fall into your lap at #2.

Don't overthink it. Don't get cute because you want to prove your laptop is smarter than the whole of the NFL. Jimmy needs to tell Moneytard to go crunch the numbers for the concession stands, Berry to wipe the drool off of his chin and then ask Stefanski "since you're the HC, what do YOU want us to do?"
