There are three court systems in America
- Criminal Court
- Civil Court
- The Court of Public Opinion
It will always remain a universal frustration that a judgement in any one of these courts will seldom bring with it a universal agreement that justice was served. Many still believe OJ is a murderer, for example.
Rags stands on a black-and-white foundation of behavior. He believes that 22 accusers is enough of an indication that Watson is a sexual deviant. There is a lot of substance to his position for if women just decided to make these en'-masse accusations, you would think there would be a hell of a lot more of these things. Also, in the defense of the women, while I can see room for some gold diggers, going through this kind of a legal process, knowing you may be left looking like a liar and a whore is not something many would do casually.
In your case, you stand on a black-and-white foundation of our system of law. That to is a position of substance and certainly fairness. You believe men are naturally innocent and must be treated that way until proved otherwise. You believe and accept due process for all.
I believe that Watson pulled some cock antics. I think some of the women are indeed full of shit, but 22 (is it 22?) women coming forward makes me think some of the women are telling the truth. The bolder girls just poo-poo'd it off, but once one came forward, others followed.
My own judgement in this is fuzzy, maybe even hypocritical but I just don't think highly of public figures. To me, athletes, entertainers and politicians are scum. The women that engage them get what they get. If Watson swirled his dick at my wife, my wife would have kicked him in the nuts and told him to get the fuck out. I think we all know "don't fuck with me asshole" type of women. Like it or not, this makes us less likely to believe the accusers.
The takeaway for me is that once again the Browns have put themselves into a position where important team issues have not been resolved. Like it or not, we have two potential QB fuckswamps. Like it or not, there is still a pathway where Baker Mayfield could be the 2022 starting QB of the Cleveland Browns.
Good management? I don't know, and really it will only be luck that determines this.
