Browns Deshaun Watson - Football Talk

Problem is if they were to actually do that we'd see it.
Something like: Watson, a former 2 time Pro Bowl QB ranked fifth in passing in 20 something or other but you get the drift. That would only be fair.

It's not even noted by anyone of the alleged NFL "experts". Not even @Masters!
 
I wouldn't rank Watson in the top 10 QBs as of 18-Aug-23

The butt hurt reaction to this more talk about Rodgers than Watson in the hall of fam game, etc is why Colin Cowherd at times refers to Browns fans as a low self-esteem fan base. Browns will get flowers when they start winning, and winning consistently. Going in to and part of 2021 they were constantly talked about by the media
 
Make no mistake: If Watson is even 80 percent of what he was with Houston, we will be a very hard team to beat this season. As a side note, still kind of gets to me in regards to his personality, but that is what it is, hopefully he can be the QB we all want him to be. Not been the best since he came back, but I still have faith the dude has the tools in his locker to lead this team to good things.

Still will never be my favorite Browns QB of all time regardless what he does mind haha...that belongs to Timmy C:cool:
 
I just watched the Steelers and Cowboys until the Kardiac Kids clicked in, then it was Browns all the way.
Kosar was there when I was at Case, so I'll always love that dude.
 
I wasn't quite into football yet when Sipe was at the helm. I remember my dad loving him.

Didn't know you went to Case, I was an honorary Sig Ep member even though I didn't go there. (my best friend at the time did) Lived in the Sig Ep house for a while and had some epic times until they got tired of my ass. One too many house meetings about yours truly.

I think SB to justify the Watson deal is extreme. A lot has to go right for any team to win. It's not just QB.

If Watson solves the QB position for the next 10 years, and does his part to have CLE contending for playoffs and SB each year, then to me it is justified
