Browns The 2025 hunt for a QB

Don't move up and take the other guy.

Until AB proves he can draft Pro Bowl type talent in the first round I'm still leaning on a major rebuild. Especially a locker room rebuild because last year showed guys loafing around and unable to respond to adversity.

This team has leadership in the locker room issues that signing an old guy like Russel Wilson looks to me like he wants to collect a check, retire and generally not care what happens after that. See Willie McGinest, Trent Dilfer and others.

Dude looks lonely, and he's wrong. Clearly, the Browns didn't look at Watson hard enough. A mental evaluation would have been perhaps helpful. And those of us who thought Baker was the perfect QB for Cleveland because of his Dawg nature were proven right. It was obviously the worst decision in modern football history, when evaluated in context. ;)

Sure, when only talking what they gave up for Watson (picks + money), and what they ultimately got for it.

Baker was never "Cleveland" when on Browns, as he wasn't in Cleveland other than when he had to be. The NE OH blue color "Cleveland " wouldn't be spending more time on commercials than their craft. Now it would be "Cleveland" to settle for trailer at QB, and just be good enough to get bounced in wild card weekend or divisional round.

Hindsight those picks could have gotten an upgrade at QB via the draft. With hindsight should have drafted Allen or Jackson

We would be lucky as fuck to have Baker Mayfield leading this team right now. He gives a fuck and always has. Watson never gave a shit about playing in Cleveland, much less even trying to win. Baker did. I called it at the time as a stupid move. Because it was obvious Watson didn't want to be here. You call Baker a trailer when the biggest trailer (actually a 500-ton weight) in Browns' history is still on the team while Baker thrives in TB. He was clearly NOT a trailer the last two seasons and has proven he's easily a top 10 NFL QB. Yet you dipshits want to blame it all on Baker because of the bs rumors the Browns threw at Baker because they gave up on him. Wake up and realize the Browns fucked us out of the last THREE seasons and at least the next one because of their inability to realize Watson is a liar and fucked in the head. Baker was in too many commercials early on and it fucked his second year. But at least he wasn't chasing hand jobs and fucking up his own head.

We were never in a position to draft a better QB than Baker Mayfield, except the draft we drafted him.

It's very telling that not one single Browns player has shown any support whatsoever for Watson. They know who he really is. The Browns finally realized it. Only took 3 years of him fucking us.
