country in the world is said by people who have never
travelled anywhere and it’s ignorant as well as arrogant.

I posted the numbers of what Trump denied for three months
and I’ll update the numbers weekly because regardless of what
The Great And Powerful Trump spews from his lying mouth the
numbers speak for themselves.

Your one doctor lighter as one just died today essentially
gave up his life to treat others, he and anyone in healthcare
who have or are battling this virus due to helping other people
deserve more than we could ever possibly imagine in this they
are true Hero’s...
 
No argument on the sacrifice the doctors and other healthcare workers are making. All of them.

I can post a dozen articles in a couple seconds on the real reason for masks, in and out of the hospital...and yes, I have talked to many MD's about what I have posted...that is why I am confident in posting it.

As for Trump, he's a complete asshat. Don't like the man, or the politician, but was willing to put up with it for the primary reason that as a former soldier in Military Intelligence...with a top secret SCI clearance...I could NOT vote for the opposition. Maybe if independents could vote in primaries we could get REAL candidates instead of the jokes the Dems and Reps keep trotting out. We got the same crap again this time.

I don't care if you want to wear a mask and gloves...just don't be like all the asshats dropping them in the parking lot or the shopping cart. Selfish pricks.

I carry wipes, I use sanitizer, I avoid contact, I and my family have basically self isolated for weeks now...so I get the desire to do more. I just don't think causing irreparable harm to peoples financials is going to be the answer that people think it is.

your service, we’ve talked about our time in the
Army, I was actually trying to throw a little light
on the sacrifices healthcare people are making on
our behalf.
Politically speaking I get how Trump got into office
but I don’t believe he has earned a second term.

I have not ever gone to a Trump rally, never will.....I guess. but have agreed with his political positions since the 1980s. most importantly his trade positions. now in these times we are finding out the hard way.

I've seen it live in the late 70s & 80s as the jobs left Cleveland. it killed more people than will ever be documented . hard working men who had their livelihoods taken away. they died in bottom of a bottle of alcohol or drugs or just shot each other or themselves.

Now I fear our actions of doing this shut down any longer than the end of the month suicidal.

As I have previously said, I was surprised when Mr. Trump won and I was even more surprised when he turned out to be a good president. When he was first elected, I worried that he was more interested in running for president than actually being president. However, it is now obvious to me that when he came into office, he had a clear vision of what he wanted to accomplish as President. Despite all the opposition and impediments that have been thrown in his path, he has been true to his purpose.

Whether he leaves office in a year or five years, he will have left the country in much better condition than he found it. The difference is that if he remain in office for the next five years, he will be able to solidify the changes he has effected. In many ways, Reagan was a much more attractive man, and I have often wished that Trump could be more like Reagan. But that doesn't much matter; Trump will without doubt leave a greater and more profound legacy than Reagan, particularly if he is reelected in November.

he is what he is........ he has been lying about things to make himself look better since his initial campaign.

as far as the covid19 i am not sure any other president would have done anything different. what would they have done locked down the country at the first sign of this in Dec or janurary? i dont think previous presidents would have done that. It would still be in the country if trump wasn't president. maybe we would be in a better position with some supplies that the goof sold off. its in every country in the world so its pretty naive to think of Obama was president that somehow the country would be fine.

people are complaining about being locked down for 2 weeks what about 2 or 3 months already.
 
Surgical mask’s do not cover your eyes.
Your eyes are like sponges and are just as
problematic to preventing the virus.
Full face shields combined with a mask are
the smart way to go.
Trump is not a good president and never has
been, under the radar he has appointed a lot
of federal judges with conservative values which
doesn’t make the paper but hard core republicans
love it.
If our leader sat at his desk in the Oval Office and
look straight into a camera and reassure the
public of where we are and where going I might
be less forgiving if he hasn’t lied about this current
pandemic.
He has blown this entire virus situation and blames
others for his lack of interest in how this will affect
citizens of this country, Trump is for Trump he has
no interest in anything that doesn’t involve his
ability to increase his own bottom line.

Dan's okay. The only problem with Dan is that he is a true believer. My earlier beef with him is that he thought the reason I didn't agree with him was because I wasn't listening and if only I listened, I would be a believer too. He is wrong, of course, but no problem. I just wish that he would more clearly agree to disagree.

What would other Presidents have done different?

Well, for one thing, Trump restricted travel from China only two weeks after the WHO reported that

I am not sure that many other presidents would have taken that step so quickly. Joe Biden, for example, called him a racist at the time for taking that step.

While he was saying wear masks, he emphasized...IT IS NOT FOR YOU, IT IS FOR OTHERS IN CASE YOU ARE SICK!

you don’t tell America that wearing a mask is dumb you
inform the country on what is vital,you don’t do daily
rally’s cause you can’t get a bunch of people in an
auditorium.
I posted true numbers of infections in America along with death
rates and as health professionals stated Death’s have nearly doubled
and infections have risen over one hundred thousand in three days!!!
He just told his base and the country wearing a mask looks stupid so
dying is the better option.

However, as Dr. Birx mentioned today in the coronavirus briefing, the head of the World Health Organization as late as February 3 (4 days after Trump imposed the travel ban on China) said that there was no need for any travel ban.

So what did Biden actually say?

In a town hall in Iowa, the day that Trump imposed the travel restriction on China in January 31, Biden said, "This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria and xenophobia, hysterical xenophobia, and fearmongering to lead the way instead of science."

Subsequently, in and March 24 CNN interview when shown a clip in which Trump said: "I made a decision to close off to China. That was weeks early. And, honestly, I took a lot of heat," Biden said, "It is xenophobic. I don't know if he knows what that means, but that's OK."

I must plead ignorance Cliff,
Honestly since this virus started I haven’t paid
attention to Sanders or Biden or whoever else
is running for POTUS.
Just as caught up in the moment as the next guy.
