Players don't get on mic's at the FO much. just no future in that for them. imo it's just player energy on the field that speaks. we could see that here last year with Flacco. I just don't see that 110% this year.

Pretty sure he has problems every year getting 20+ points with his offense. Last year he lost the locker room by week 3. Thank God for Jim Schwartz historic defense and inspiring locker room speeches. Finally an 18 year veteran that they didn't want stepped in and stopped listening to the Denny's menu robot and just did what he knows how to do.

rewatching … the full breaks he gave the D at the end of the game was perfect clock management. Wouldn’t call the timeout until the center was over the ball.

I’m totally fine with him not calling plays and am eager to see how he does as a CEO-HC.

On the bright side, he doesn't have much to do. You could see he was bored AF on the sideline most of the time. So hopefully he'll be able to properly focus on things like TOs, illegal procedures, 12 men on the field ...etc etc.
