Yep, he sucks. Blows. Yet to play a down in pads, and let's mail-it in.

I am so glad you get it. Hurt all of last year(or at least thats the excuse everyone used for his subpar performances against talented oopponents)hurt twice so far in mini camp(without pads) yes sir he is the man of steel!

Old Creampuff is off to a roaring start! A generational wussy boy...Over under games missed this year is at 8.

Pretty concerning he has had 3 injuries to the same foot in the span of a year. An entire year of not being 100% and he is still limping on the same foot. I must just be paranoid.

Whoever was "in charge" at A&M never should have let him play on that high ankle sprain. Just dumb.

But when he's allowed to recover properly... I'm just looking forward to when they take the leash off of him.

I mean we take a guy first overall who is an obvious physical freak. Produced in college, seems to be a really good kid, zero (I mean zero) off the field issues, and he played last year with a high ankle sprain.

Been a solid Cleveland citizen since his drafting, said and done all the right things.

Has the physical toolset to truly be an elite NFL player, maybe an all time great. Again, all this is unproven one way or the other, but the physical gifts are there.

The result? Some fans are actually mounting hate campaigns against the kid before he's played a single down. I gotta be honest, that is completely fucked up. I think its fucking odd as hell. Sure, maybe after the draft for a few weeks if you really hated the pick. But at this stage? Seems more what a piece of shit Steelers' fan would do.

It's outright disgusting but it shouldn't surprise anyone that this thing is going on around this board, it's the same usual suspects that seem to have nothing better to do with their lives than rain on everyones parade and bring misery to the otherwise hopeful members.

It's not just Garrett either it's the team as a whole and the front office, Myles may be getting hit harder because besides the always bitching elderly members of the board (i'll clarify as to not offend them as a whole, brownsfan1956,nickers etc :oldtimer:) you have the ones that were QB or bust pilling on.

I'm finding it more difficult each day to logon to the forum, it's become so predicatable and tedious and the powers that be tolerate such actions for the sake of keeping a board "active" nevermind the quality of their posts, fuck you could literally go through the entire posting history of a few members and find that 75% of their posts are negative usually without basis for being so, insulting or just completely naive and agenda ridden.

Meh. Old people are fucking stupid. Forum works the same as family gatherings - let the old people sit in the corner and complain about how the youth of nation ruined everything by not reading the bible, supporting the faggots and failing to serve in 'nam.

Remember that the true turning point for the hatred of Myles Garrett started when it was revealed he liked poetry. That speaks volumes of the demographic that hates this kid.

(Nobody can complain about me calling old people stupid. It was actual science. It is called "The Flynn Effect" because researcher James Flynn showed the world's population is scoring progressively higher on intelligence tests. It is so noticeable that the average rise in intelligence every decade in Western nations is an average 3 points. So assuming some of these dudes with 50 years on us even started with an IQ in the 90 range, which I'll call right now as unlikely given most of them struggle with they're/their/there, today they're likely in the "mildly retarded" category when compared to the rest of us. Our spike in intelligence has been attributed to better nutrition combined with our increased size and brain functioning requiring more nutrition (Most food consumed is for the brain, not the body), richer and more complex learning environments that have led to greater mental coping ability, and technological advantages that a predominantly young population utilize.)

Seems more what a piece of shit Steelers' fan would do.

Or a realist. Grey, I know you and many others here live in some fucking fairy tale land where everything is going to be all awesome just vecause. The facts dont support that BUT in the age of entitlement you can think that way. Keep in mind we are talking about a kid who played poorly against good competition. Who got his most production last year againt the "weak sisters of the poor". He was hurt last yea, hence the off production, he has had three separate incidents of injury in a NO PADS NO CONTACT mini so far. But yes, I am certain all of that will disappear when the season starts just because hot goddamn thats how things really work!

Wake the hell up.

I dunno '56, being a fan is never about being a realist. This isn't our marriage, job, or retirement plans. Hard looks in the mirror aren't a part of it. It's just hoping your team wins and enjoying them trying to improve.

But yeah, the realist approach is 90% of the NFL teams aren't likely to win the Super Bowl, so for those fans, get real because it's not happening, so don't even bother enjoying the positive moments along the way. Well, that's just no fun - ya know?

Young folks are busy smokin' and trippin' livin' in a fantasy land, but that's ok. They're they're. ;)

Heres the honest of Gods truth... Miley Garrett is a nice kid.. He studies hard... Loves Dinosaurs and Paleoentology.... Well He can plan his retirement in the Montana Badlands digging up bones the rest of his life.. Because He's too frail to make it in the NFl.. BUT,BUT,BUT.. According to all of you geniuses.. Hes the second coming of RayRay...:roflmao:

Welp, he's in a walking boot. That's not a good sign

A walking boot takes pressure off the foot which allows for faster healing. It makes sense to wear one when it can help him get back to 100% earlier - especially given camp is like 6 weeks away. Every day counts.

More encouraging - the news he's in a moonboot came when he was spotted at the airport, and the photo of him says it was taken at the airport. In his final media presser, he said between OTAs and camp he was planning to go back to college station to work with some of his coaches there to make sure he's in top shape for camp. The fact he was seen at the airport suggests he's still going.

That's a positive thing given he wouldn't be leaving Cleveland if his injury was anything to worry about.

As has been reported, he's fine. The coaches don't seem stressed either. A moon boot isn't really ominous.

As a person who has had ankle and knee issues.. And a broken leg and ankle.. I can tell you right now.. He'll never be 100% ever... Quit kidding yourself... If its happened to him once. "Injuries" .. Chances are better than 50% it'll happen again.. He's toast.

I guess we better just try to trade him. Maybe we could get a fifth in 2019.
