The #1 pick is in -- Myles Garrett

He was asked about the foot, and his response was something about "did coach tell you?" ...when the reporter said he hadn't, he shut it down and wouldn't reveal the injury.

Big man.

Let's hope we didn't get Zydrunas Ilgauskased.

Jackson was asked if it was the same foot that's been bugging Garrett throughout OTAs. A source told cleveland.com that Garrett suffered a foot injury in rookie minicamp, and even wore a walking boot at one point. He sat out the first week of organized team activities, and was limited the final two weeks.
"I don't know that for sure," said Jackson. "I won't know more until I can go in there and see what it is."

The bad news is it's the same leg as the high ankle sprain that hampered him all last season and limited him to 8 1/2 sacks.

I do think we got rid of Weeden too quickly as well.

Just for the record, I have never said that we got rid of Brandon too soon, nor do I believe it to be the case. While I believe Brandon might have been developed into a competent WCO quarterback under favorable conditions, I do not think he had a reasonable chance of succeeding with either Chud or Pettine after Michael Lombardi became the GM. Considering the situation, I think it was best for both the Browns and Brandon that Farmer release him at the end of the 2013 season.

Weedon too soon? That's fucked up. He is to be called 'He who must not be named.

But since this thread is about myles "da creampuff" Garrett I see he's down and out AGAIN. What an investment he was....So our top draft was creampuff, purple drank and a hybrid TE....Impressive. I never thought I'd miss joe banner.

So myles, henceforth to be known as creampuff or cashmere because he is so soft, limps off the field. I dont think there' a damn thing wrong with this heartless wonder except maybe him not liking being chewed on by GGG. The boy's soft! Indulged, entitled and right now he looks like a waste of the #1 pick.

So congratulations to all those who just couldnt do without this guy being a Brown. Well you got him...all of him except his heart but dont be discouraged he doesnt have one of those. It's almost told you so mode and we havent even hit training camp yet. thumbup

So Garrett is "Fine" but the coaches are holding him back because they've seen what a destructive force he is off the edge and nobody wants to risk a really good football player.

Garrett can't win. Looks great? It's just drills, he's a bitch. Held back from those drills? Omg he's missing so much important shit because he's soft what a bitch.

Yeesh.

Pretty concerning he has had 3 injuries to the same foot in the span of a year. An entire year of not being 100% and he is still limping on the same foot. I must just be paranoid.

Agree it's concerning, but at least it's a positive report so far, as there is that 4 letter word, "Lisfranc", we just don't want to hear. So far so good.

1:45 if ya'll wanna see Gregggg talking about our entitled, lazy, no heart, injury prone, soft, indulged, wasted #1 pick. Of course, we all know Gregg is a fake news faggot who is clearly lying and just hates kids from Ohio but he does a nice of job of faking excitement about Myles Faggo... Garrett.

Yep, he sucks. Blows. Yet to play a down in pads, and let's mail-it in. ;)

Well.. Like I said.. he's having issues now and theyre not in full pads... Enjoy him.. He wont last long in the NFL if he has nagging issues already.. I told you people this was not the pick to make.. And I stand by it.. disagree all you want... But he will not last through training camp.. book it..

I was pretty hard on Garrett before the draft. I hope I'm wrong and he's someday right up there with Joe Thomas as one of our all-time greats.

I do think this criticism of him here on this board is premature. Let's wait until he actually misses some games before we start calling him soft.

the risk lies in the fact that hes a big rolled up muscle waiting to snap.

he literally has his body at its capacity for performance....hes figuratively redlining his rpms on the plays he does full go.

I hope we get #1 pick play out of him. hes the opposite of a JFF pick so lets root for him first before we run him out of town. (remember the Browns picked him not the other way around)
